'SOF on the Block' was an inaugural event, celebrating our local secondary school, School of the Future's 21 years of academic excellence. 22nd Street, between Lexington and Park Avenues, became a boulevard of games like 'shave the balloon' and activities like ping pong; items for sale included crafts, art, baked goods, new and used items; performances by SOF students; information tables; a beautiful bouncy castle; and some of the best food trucks in NYC! People were able to visit SOF's stunning roof garden, built and maintained by students. Community spirit was palpable, and we hope this will be an annual event for many years to come!
